Ratanhia Toothpaste

The people of the Andena Mountains in Peru traditionally use Ratanhia root to clean their teeth. Like all things Weleda, we respect that wisdom and build on it for natural health. The sturdy red root is rich in tanning agents which protect and strengthen sore gums, and it contains natural anti-bacterial qualities. We add calming myrrh and refreshing essential oils of peppermint and spearmint, with calcium-based cleansers for a naturally effective toothpaste.

• Regular use strengthens and tones gums to prevent bleeding

• Cleans teeth and prevents plaque build-up.

• Long-lasting fresh minty taste.

• Certified natural dental care.

Apply a small amount of toothpaste to a dry toothbrush and brush over the teeth and gums for a through cleaning.
